LIFE@VESIT
I had been in this awesome institution- Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology ( VESIT ) for my under graduation........
Before I was joined VESIT... I was constantly bombarded with such pessimistic statements " VESIT is jail!!, why u committing suicide at such an age? "... They don't allow people to roam around in the campus ( ....did I say campus?..:P), attendance has to be 100%,
you would be like one of those geeks and much more similar things... but after I joined, I found it most of things were opposite of what I heard...
Life in VESIT is a UNIQUE exp ...Here you find things which you would love to do
ideally...A peculiar description of your classmates in VESIT, you will get an
oppurtunity to choose one of the cliques...1st one are the
GEEKS which don't care what's going on in the college and for them life
in VESIT is from 8.30 to 3 in the classrooms listening to those boring lectures, Page 3 people
are the most active 1's in the class who manages their acads and extra -
curricular activities exceptionally well, Anti-page 3 people who always complain and talk about page 3 people and the last one, are the people called Lost World and they are the people who neither are good at studies nor
concerned with the other activities going in the college.. that's what seniors will tell you here... And I completely agree with this...

Now VESIT as whole...
This is the dream college 1 would like to be in... Here, the Student has various options like being one of the geeks, taking part in Cultural Activities and Sports... Biggest events - Praxis ( Annual
Inter Technical festival ), Sphurti ( Sports festival ) and Utsav (
Intra-Cultural festival )... 'Socs'... Societies always keep us active the whole academic year... VESIT without Societies is
like Team Indian without Sachin..
Putting in more concise way, VESIT has a lot of opportunities and now it's up to the individuals what they want to choose to be in.. Because of all this... I think the college has Best Juniors-Seniors interaction...I truly love this part....
